Norton Rose Fulbright has released its 2015 Texas Public Finance Legislative Review – 84th Session. Our review summarizes the completed session and resulting legislation affecting public finance.
The 2015 Texas legislative session came to a close on June 1, 2015. With that, there were several bills introduced during the session, and we’ve tried to highlight the bills that directly or indirectly affect our clients in our practice. It is not a summary of all bills enacted by the 84th Legislature, but it is focused on special concerns: how Texas governments and nonprofit corporations build and finance facilities; how Texas government finance operations and economic development; and how those governments govern themselves.
